Beth Lucas
Beth Lucas returned to the industry in late 2021 with a new alt-country sound and has been busy carving her path within the country space, with no signs of slowing down.
2024 has seen Beth release two (2) new country offerings: ‘Rearview Mirror’, an anthemic story of self-reflection and perseverance and ‘Pieces’, a rock-charged break-up collaboration with Mark Lavender.
‘Rearview Mirror’ features Lucas’ signature acoustic guitar layered with emotive harmonies and a sound that is both unique whilst also placing her in the same arena as rising country stars such as Ella Langley, Laura Frank and Bailey Zimmerman.
Beth Lucas wanted a music video for her latest single, “Rearview Mirror” that would tell a captivating story cinematically rather than just being a typical music video.
The main goal was to create a music video that not only complemented Beth’s storytelling but also resonated with a wide audience through its visual narrative.
The video needed to capture the essence of the song while keeping its artistic integrity and emotional depth intact.
Slow Cooked Media, developed the entire storyboard for the music video. Once the concept was approved by Beth, Slow Cooked Media directed and produced the music video on location around Queensland, Australia.
By blending creative vision with technical skill, the project showed how collaboration between artists and media professionals can deliver compelling storytelling.
